Ortho Active is a premiere manufacturer and distributor of orthopedic products to the orthotic, prosthetic, rehab, and retail medical industries in Canada. Over 25 years we have developed a reputation for quality products and service that has stayed consistent with our "mom and pop" beginnings. The company was started as a softgoods manufacturer, which remains one of the primary focuses of our business. Over time, however, Ortho Active began to distribute in Canada unique products from around the world and expand the breadth of our product line. With a coast to coast sales force we have been able to provide our clients with a high level of service that is hard to match in our small yet diverse industry.

Today Ortho Active is a national leader in orthopedic softgoods, with the bulk of our products being manufactured in our facility just outside of Vancouver, BC. We have also begun to focus on high end orthotics as evidenced by our representation of companies such as Schein Orthopedic, Ultraflex Systems, and most recently the world leader in spinal bracing, Aspen Medical. Since 2007 we have also been very involved in prosthetics with our exclusive distributorship of the fastest growing prosthetic company in the world, Freedom Innovations.

From 2010 onward we are planning to focus much of our attention on clinical education for our wide variety of clients. In an industry with fast changing technology we feel it is our role to not only introduce cutting edge products, but also educate our clientele in their practical application. This applies to the fitting of a wrist brace in a medical supply store, right up to the fitting of a microprocessor controlled prosthetic knee. With many more exciting products on the way, we are looking forward to continuing our role as one of Canada's primary O&P and softgoods suppliers for decades to come.
